	INSULEUR’s General Assembly meets on December 2nd in Alghero (Sardinia) All the members of the Network of the Insular Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the Union (INSULEUR) are invited to attend the General Assembly that will take place on December the 2nd in Alghero (Sardinia), a meeting that, as usual, will be preceded that same day by the meeting of the Board of Directors of the organization. Read more [+] INSULEUR prepares the launch next year of its new project for boosting the nautical sector: InnoNautics Several members of INSULEUR are preparing for launching next year InnoNautics, a website that will gather the offer of all companies operating within the nautical sector in the Mediterranean with the aim of boosting this relevant industry for the EU islands. Read more [+] The European Commission launches a public consultation on cohesion policy The European Commission has launched a public consultation on economic, social and territorial cohesion, with the aim to collect ideas and contributions on the question of how the Union's cohesion policy should adapt to new challenges and how its delivery can be improved in order to maximise its impact in the future. It will help to shape the Commission's proposals on the future of the policy. Read more After a successful first test year, INSULEUR encourages its members to take part in the HERMES-ILES program for staff exchanging With the aim of increasing cooperation between the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the European Union Island, INSULEUR launched this year a staff exchange program amongst its members called HERMES-ILES who has successfully passed its first test year. Read more [+] INSULEUR and EOAEN agree to strengthen their partnership for a wider awareness of the islands problems by the EU The highest representatives of INSULEUR and EOAEN met last September on the Greek island of Chios in a meeting in which all parties agreed to strengthen their collaboration in order to attract a wider interest from EU Governments towards the specific problems of the European islands.
